How to read the signals
These indicators measure different dimensions and horizons: press sentiment captures the very short term, momentum the underlying trend, and the Conviction score fuses everything (sentiment, COT positioning, smart money, momentum). A divergence between them is information, not an error — that is exactly what the Conviction score synthesizes.
Conviction score — verdict
Proprietary signal: fuses sentiment, COT, smart money and momentum into a 0-100 score. This is the reference verdict.
Press sentiment
Tone of recent articles (NLP analysis). Very short-term horizon, reacts fast to the news.
Momentum / trend
Composite price trend and momentum score (Alpha). Reflects the slower underlying dynamic.
